Working bees

We hold regular working bees from March through until November. New people are very welcome and no experience is required. We show you the process of planting which is quite simple. All you need to bring is a pair of gardening gloves and we will provide the rest!

Sundays 10am till 12pm

Our main working bees are monthly on a Sunday from 10am till 12pm. In 2025 we will be largely working around the Phillips Fox Billabong and at the Glenard Billabong (which is part of the Annulus complex of billabongs).

The major focus of these working bees is planting shrubs, grasses and wetland plants to improve biodiversity of the park.

2nd and 4th Wednesday mornings of the month at 10.30am

These working bees a more varied with planting and maintenance work.
